For our first major event of the year, members of our team had the opportunity to travel to Portland, Oregon for the Oregon Dental Conference. This experience came about after someone met us at Smilecon (the American Dental Association’s annual major conference) and wanted to explore the possibility of us coming into their space as well. 

When asked about her favorite part of this event, Becca Hall, our Director of Operations, shared, 

“My favorite thing about this specific event was that it was the first one we've had the opportunity to do over on the West Coast in quite a while! It was great to connect with a more specific audience, in terms of this event being mostly folks from the Oregon and Washington area, rather than the national conferences that we usually attend. It allowed our team alot of opportunities to hear more about the area and why all the attendees loved it so much, which definitely tied into our activites that we hosted. We created a custom coloring wall for this event that included elements specific to the Pacific Northwest, which is such a fun area and concept in terms of the visuals that we were able to utilize!” 

While our home office is located in Chicago, Illinois, we are always excited about getting the opportunity to travel to different spaces to spread hope and remind people that IT’S OK NOT TO BE OK.
