Why is Hope For The Day in schools?
The goal of our education programming is to provide tools for early recognition and intervention, to disrupt the highest risk factors for mental health crises and suicide. By starting the conversation about mental health in schools, students can be better equipped to handle real life situations.
Our education is also for the community — teachers, staff, and family — to create a presence in that community, not just in the schools. Through this we can help build open lines of communication and information

Through the generous support we receive from our donors, we can offer our education programming (45 minutes) for free to Chicagoland schools (grades 7-12)!
*Anyone over 18 who is currently enrolled, employed, or otherwise affiliated with said university/college can fill out our interest form! If you’re a concerned community member interested in bringing our programming to a university near you, we encourage you to share this link with them!
