AGENTS OF IMPACT WILL TEACH OUR MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION WORKSHOPS IN 2020

To make 2020 our most impactful year yet, we are training numerous Agents of Impact on how to teach our pioneering Mental Health Education programming.

Sr. Director of Operations, Carl Evans and Education Director, Mike Vinopal lead the first ever Surrogate Summit to train dedicated Agents of Impact how to carry the torch for HFTD Mental Health Education in 2020.

It is our goal to educate at least 20,000 individuals in 2020. To maximize our collective power to break the silence of stigma in diverse communities and leverage our community members’ determination to make an impact, we are excited to announce that we have begun training our most dedicated Surrogate Level Agents of Impact (AOIs) on how to deliver and teach our pioneering Mental Health Education programming in the upcoming year.

These Surrogate AOIs will be the torchbearers of our Proactive Prevention + Mental Health Education programs, carrying our motto IT’S OK NOT TO BE OK into their own community spaces, and driving the conversation on mental health wherever they go.

Our Surrogate AOIs have already demonstrated their dedication to breaking the silence on mental health stigma through extensive projects and global community outreach endeavors, working continuously with HFTD to reduce suicide rates in the US and beyond.

Now they will have the opportunity to teach our Mental Health Education workshops, infusing their own experiences and perspectives into our signature programming.

With more mental health educators on the ground teaching our PEERvention Workshops, we can ensure more individuals have access to the information necessary to understand how we eliminate the highest risk factors of suicide and find support for ourselves and others before crisis.

Surrogate Level Agents of Impact will join HFTD in teaching Mental Health Education workshops in 2020!

By broadening our range of educators and empowering our community of AOIs to teach our Mental Health Education workshops, we invite diverse perspectives to the conversation on mental health and extend our ability to educate even more individuals and communities.

Through the grass-roots approach we’ve always exerted, we can continue to sustain our education programming, and further embolden members of our community to take action and make an impact!

We can’t wait to see our torchbearer AOIs teach our Mental Health Education programming and share their unique stories on mental health in 2020.

TOGETHER WE CAN EDUCATE THOUSANDS. HAVE HOPE.
